As navigator (Navigating officer) focuses on creating the ship’s passage plans with safe, step by step description how the voyage is to proceed from berth to berth or one port to the others and supported with all publication, chart and others navigation equipment on board.to ensure that all chart and publication are up to date for our safety voyage

When navigating, periodically checked and tested navigation and GMDSS equipment including SART and EPIRB should be carried out to ensure that all equipment in good order and ready to use for our safety during voyage.
Observed if any change of weather condition and inform to Master
Maintain communicated with the agent for next port via email and confirm to Master
Prepared all arrival and departure document before entering and leaving port
When have completed my job, I spend my freely time to join with others crew for sharing, joking and improve my knowledge by learn and learn……
During STS or processing tuna at sea
There are various position depend on Master and C/O order, sometimes I handling/operating winch and sometimes in the hold arrange the fish , as second officer, I also remind the others crew to work with safety, no accident till completed work ( it’s priority )

While in port
Second officer also SSO on board has to prepare schedule watch during berthing for Checking all visitor who coming on board and condition of mooring line
Assist Master when the agent, authority and the others coming on board
And On Sunday I usually go shore for refreshing after…..
On vacation
I really full spend my time together with my family, went to restaurant, playground, shopping and sharing with them about my work on board, But not to forget Keeping practice my knowledge even at home
And finally I have to said is “BE THE BEST ONE IN YOUR POSITION WHAT EVER YOU ARE”
