AS NAVIGATION OFFICER is kind of my dream to be, so I spend my on board periode to be the best I could. Day after day i passed over the seas with happiness, make sure everything is going under plan and safe by check all of my work. Help each other, communicate every possibility or every doubt with other crew and specially with master.
Planning a passage is special, make a route and check all the routes are safe, check all the navigation is in good work and all safety equipment I appropriate are my responsibility but, I do it enjoy with no pressure, cause for me work with knowledge and responsibility will make us be a professional person.
While ship STS or engage on work also another challenge for me. Work with efficient during transferring a cargo (tuna fish), handling a winch sometimes or even while work in cargo space. Team work, safe, efficient is the major issue that I keep in my mind during do work.
Spending time on board will be fun while take a time for share some moment with other crew, discus about work and even about live. For me we can learn anything so I always keep my mind open for everyone.
All the ship will back to port, either us. I have to make sure the ship is always be safe during in port, regularly check the line, check every one who came on board and keep monitoring the cargo operation.
Sometimes take my free time for going shore to refresh my mind and set it to be ready cross the sea.
Finally I would like to say that be a seafarer is wasn`t easy but do it with happiness will safe you, your family, the ship, the company and the sea.
